Some businesses sign up for Management Print Services without doing a cost comparison as to their present set up. The so called 1 cent per page Managed Print Service does not include the Capital Expenditure that needs to be paid as well.

Example: Install a Mono (black print only) Machine that costs €1,000

• 1 cent per page is the service charge (say over 3 years)
• Print 100,000 pages in 3 years which comes to €1,000
• Add the Capital cost of the machine means €2,000 so the cost per page is actually 2 cent per page.
